This causes man to be separated from God.  "...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." - Romans 3:23  "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 6:23  Truth 3: To have fellowship with God and know His love, we need to have our sins forgiven. We are able to have our sins forgiven through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8  "Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." - John 14:6  Truth 4: Each person must ask Jesus Christ to come into their life and forgive them of their sins.  "Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." - John 1:12  It does not cost anything to ask Jesus Christ into your heart. It is a free gift.  "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast." - Ephesians 2:8 & 9 Prayer Of Salvation  You can pray the following prayer and receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and have the assurance that your sins are forgiven. Heavenly Father,  I believe that all things are possible through Your Son, Jesus Christ. I want to know Him as my savior, my provider, my comforter and my healer. I'm asking you today Jesus, to come into my life in this very way.  I am asking you to forgive me of all my sins and help me to forgive other who have sinned against me so that I may have the promise of eternal life with you in Heaven.  I am asking you to teach me in your word and through your Holy Spirit how to give of myself, how to have strength and courage in the battles of life, and how to have joy and peace even during the times of tribulation and strife.  Lord Jesus, I lay my life and my will before you so that I might be born again a child of God and so that your will can be done on earth through me.  Thank you Lord, for providing for me, protecting me, and healing me even before I knew you. Thank you for finding me here where I am today, for loving me just as I am today, and for delivering me from where I am today.
